On June 18, Gary Gong, Chairman of i2i, led a delegation to visit MIT. They met with Michael Lin, Director of the City Science Lab Asia, to discuss the latest technological research achievements.
Michael Lin also provided a comprehensive campus tour of MIT, offering insights into the collaborative model between industry, government, and academia that drives innovation in the United States.
The i2i delegation's visit to MIT and the Media Lab, hosted by Michael Lin, fostered friendly exchanges and provided a firsthand look at the innovative culture of technology development, supported by the synergy of industry, government, and academia in the U.S.
Michael Lin, the current Director of the City Science Lab Asia at MIT Media Lab, has long been an advocate for Taiwan-U.S. collaboration in technology and education. He has played a pivotal role in establishing talent exchange programs between MIT’s City Science Lab and Taipei Tech (City Science Lab @ Taipei Tech), focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and robotics technology.
The mission of the City Science Lab is to advance the development of innovative technologies by promoting the application of AI and emerging technologies through a hands-on educational approach, particularly in resource-limited environments.
