i2i Chairman Reviews Long-Term Partnership Achievements with Canadian Technology Accelerator

已更新:9月9日

On June 5th, i2i Chairman Gary Gong led a team to welcome delegates from the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) headquarters to the Nangang Incubation Center.

The visit included a tour of Taiwan’s startup ecosystem and operational models, and featured in-depth discussions on the outcomes of their long-term collaboration. Both parties are eager to continue fostering mutual growth for startups in Taiwan and Canada.

Since 2021, i2i has been driving the IP2 Launchpad Program, in collaboration with the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA).

This program aims to help international startups integrate and expand in Taiwan's industries, covering sectors such as healthcare, biotechnology, sustainability, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and information and communications technology. This collaboration aligns with global trends and market demands, with the goal of attracting foreign startups and companies to engage in economic and trade exchanges in Taiwan.

In early January and May this year, i2i and the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) co-hosted the first and second IP2 Launchpad Demo Day of the year.

These events featured investment pitch sessions for promising Canadian startups, facilitating exchanges between foreign startups and Taiwanese companies to foster B2B collaborations and accelerate the development of a connected startup ecosystem between Taiwan and the international community.

Future Plans in 2024

In June, i2i will host the next Demo Day in Toronto, Canada, to explore market trends and the local startup scene. In October, i2i plans to collaborate with CTA again for another Demo Day, strengthening the ties between the Taiwanese and Canadian startup ecosystems and driving further innovation and global integration of industries in both countries.
