Mighty Net Hosts Pitch Competition to Propel Taiwanese Startups Towards Global Expansion

On November 21, the i2i International Startups team attended the opening of the "2024 Meet Taipei." They participated in the joint event organized by Mighty Net and the U.S.-based startup accelerator EntreCamp: “Step to Global: Overcoming the Final Mile of Hardware Innovation | Mighty Net Innovation Accelerator Demo Day”.


The event aimed to gain deeper insights into the growth of promising Taiwanese startups, focusing on key trends in artificial intelligence (AI) and deep tech.

Bridging the final mile of hardware innovation: From Taiwan to the world!

The Demo Day began with a speech from Ray Tai, CEO of Mighty Net, who emphasized Taiwan's key role in the global supply chain and highlighted the potential of Taiwanese startups to go international.



Claire Chang, Co-Founder of EntreCamp, then discussed the capabilities, opportunities, and strategies for Taiwanese startups entering the U.S. market.


Claire also announced that EntreCamp will continue collaborating with i2i International Startups on next year's (2025) IP² Scale Out Program. 

This program aims to recruit ten Taiwanese startups for an immersive, one-month entrepreneurship boot camp in New York from late May to late June.


The program will include intensive business courses, expert mentorship, and one-on-one pitch coaching sessions, culminating in the "Taiwan Demo Day" in Manhattan, where startups will showcase their products and services to secure international funding and partnerships.
