New York Landing Training Course
To strengthen local market adaptability and maximize the value of business matchmaking in New York, the program provided one month of intensive capacity building, including:
-
Localization Strategy Workshops: Tailored training to help startups adapt their products and business models to the cultural, economic, and legal landscape of the U.S. market.
-
Pitch Coaching: Expert-led 1-on-1 sessions on pitch deck optimization, Q&A handling, and presentation refinement.
-
Networking Practice: Practical sessions on U.S. investor communication and real-time simulation of startup-investor interactions.
Ahead of the trip, all participating startups were asked to submit detailed 1-on-1 matchmaking requests, specifying:
-
Target industries
-

-
Specific companies, institutions, or accelerators they wished to connect with
Based on these inputs, the program curated personalized matchups with local industry players, accelerators, investors, and research institutions that aligned with each team’s business focus and expansion goals. These matchmakings were conducted primarily through in-person meetings, fostering deeper engagement, trust-building, and long-term partnership potential.
