Thanks to @SingTaoDaily for the report. This year, under the guidance of the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration(SMESA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, i2i launched the 2024 IP2 Scale Out Program in collaboration with the American accelerator Entrecamp.
Ten promising Taiwanese startups were selected to participate in a comprehensive six-week online course taught in English, followed by a one-month training program in New York. The training covered strategies for entering the East Coast market, business investment connections, insights from American entrepreneurs, one-on-one pitch practice, fundraising techniques, and business model planning, all designed to help startups improve in every aspect.
The program concluded successfully with the "Taiwan Demo Day" on June 21, a highlight event that drew attention from the East Coast investment market. So far, the startups have collectively raised $10 million and continue to expand their business opportunities locally.
i2i is committed to creating an international startup community and nurturing potential startups in Taiwan. Our goal is to provide an excellent growth environment for startups, hoping to bring international startups to Taiwan and take Taiwanese startups global.
