Cross-Border CSE Collaboration: PragmaClin Research Meets with Mighty Net and Show Chwan

With a mission to "facilitate international CSE collaborations and help Taiwan startups connect globally," i2i hosted an International Demo Day on October 24, featuring six innovative international startups showcasing their cutting-edge technologies.

Following the event, i2i introduced PragmaClin Research, a Canadian startup specializing in elderly healthcare and home medical devices, to their Review Board partners, Mighty Net and Show Chwan Health Care System.

On November 18, these three organizations held a meeting to explore potential collaborations for entering the Taiwanese market, aiming to support innovation in the healthcare sector.

PragmaClin Research has already tested its products in multiple regions and now plans to expand into the Asian market, with Taiwan as its first destination.

PragmaClin's CEO, Dr. Bronwyn Bridges, explained that their solutions are mainly targeted at nursing homes and long-term care facilities, providing innovative medical equipment services.

To enhance market suitability, PragmaClin hopes to collaborate with local Taiwanese companies to refine product design and features, aiming to boost competitiveness in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ray Tai, Vice President of Mighty Net, expressed interest in assisting with equipment design optimization to ensure the product better meets the needs of Taiwan and neighboring markets.

Meanwhile, Show Chwan's clinical engineer, Samuel Hsiao, provided practical clinical insights, emphasizing that the product should align well with the actual needs of medical facilities.
