The "2024 Meet Taipei" Startup Festival took place from November 21 to 23 at the Taipei Expo Park. This year's theme, "Taiwan +1," highlighted artificial intelligence (AI), deep tech, and international expansion.
The event brought together more than 460 startup teams from 18 countries, serving as a vital platform for deeper collaboration between Taiwanese and international enterprises and startups.
i2i met once again with Wilson Khoo, the Asia representative of Continental AG, during the event. This meeting continued their longstanding friendly partnership, discussing shared growth in the startup ecosystem and potential directions for technological innovation.
As a leading European brand in automotive transportation and manufacturing, Continental AG has been dedicated to driving technological innovation and market expansion.
Since March and October of this year, Continental's Asia representatives have visited i2i multiple times, engaging in in-depth exchanges on AI, autonomous driving, material development, and ESG initiatives. They aim to leverage emerging technologies from Taiwanese startups to explore solutions for digital transformation and green sustainability in the automotive industry.
Meet Taipei, supported annually by startup accelerators and incubators, provides more opportunities for dialogue and collaboration between international corporations and startups, collectively exploring limitless possibilities for the future of industries.
